We like Simbiosis because it does not feel like a nursery where you simply choose a plant and leave. The idea of a “botanical refuge” fits well: there are native and exotic species, a highly visual curation and a clear intention to teach people how to care for what they take home.

For us, it is a place to explore slowly, especially if you enjoy finding less common species. We are also drawn to the project's focus on building community around plants rather than simply selling them. If you enjoy collecting or learning about new species, it has the kind of concept that can turn a small purchase into a full visit.
