La Moira

La Moira is an LGBTIAPQ+ community cultural house and center in San Miguel Chapultepec. The project describes itself as a space for organizations, collectives and community ventures, with activities designed to strengthen social connection, support and personal and collective development.

A CDMX Secreta video tour features director Rodrigo Banda and offers a close look at how the house works: culture, listening, sexuality, Pride and mental-health activities are shown, as well as a donation box that helps support the project. The same tour introduces Cana 77, an arts-education and job-training program for incarcerated people and people in post-release processes, and presents Sandra Garibaldi as a founder.

Programming changes frequently. La Moira can host workshops, peer-support groups, bazaars, gatherings, gallery activities, parties and projects run by other collectives. It is also home to La Tribu, a peer-support group for sexually diverse people living with HIV. Check the current agenda before visiting; Jochis keeps the general verified opening hours rather than replacing them with schedules shown in event-specific material.
